At Imagio (a Chrome extension available on the Chrome Web Store), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Imagio and how we use it.

1 Personal Data

The Service may collect the following personally identifiable information:

• Email address and name — from Google Sign-In, used to identify your account for license/subscription purposes
• Billing information — collected directly by Stripe when you purchase a paid plan; Imagio itself never receives or stores your card details

2 Usage Data

Imagio's server (which handles license/subscription checks only) keeps standard access logs of requests to that endpoint, including IP address, timestamp, and request type, for security and abuse-prevention purposes. The extension itself does not run analytics or tracking, and does not collect browsing history, pages visited, or device identifiers.

3 Use of Your Personal Data

Personal Data is used only for:

• Providing and maintaining the Service, including verifying your license/subscription status.
• Managing your account: identifying you as a registered user of the Service.
• Processing payments: fulfilling a purchased subscription.
• Contacting you: replying to support requests or sending service-related updates.

Personal information is shared only with these named service providers, and only as needed to run the Service:

• Firebase Authentication (Google): handles sign-in and issues your identity token, used solely to identify your account for licensing.
• Stripe: processes subscription payments. Stripe receives your billing details directly; no Google user data is shared with Stripe or any other third party.
• With your consent: for any other purpose you explicitly agree to.

4 Retention of Your Personal Data

Personal Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Server access logs (Usage Data) are retained for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted, unless a longer retention period is legally required.

5 Transfer of Your Personal Data

The license/subscription server may be hosted in a country other than your own, meaning your data may be processed outside your state, province, country, or governmental jurisdiction. Your image files are never transferred anywhere — all image processing happens locally in your browser (see Section 11).

Reasonable steps are taken to ensure any data that is transferred is treated securely and in line with this Privacy Policy.

6 Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Personal Data may be disclosed if required to comply with a legal obligation, to protect and defend the rights or property of the developer, to investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service, to protect the safety of users or the public, or to protect against legal liability.

7 Security of Your Personal Data

All data sent to the license/subscription server is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, commercially reasonable technical measures are used to protect your Personal Data, and it is never sold.

8 Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

10 Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

11 Image Processing & Google API Services User Data Policy

Imagio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of information received from Google APIs will also adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
